Welcome to the Snow Report

Current Conditions

(as of Thursday, February 23, 2017)

And just like that, Pico Fans, it's spring again! Temperatures in the 40s made for soft, spring-like snow conditions yesterday, and it looks like we can expect more of the same today. In fact, the mercury didn't dip below freezing at all overnight, which means soft snow and partly sunny skies from first chair to last.

You must know by now, but just in case you forgot - Pico is open every day this week, in celebration of the President's Day holiday.

Warm soft snow turned out to be just the ticket for reopening Sunset Woods yesterday, which puts Pico back in the enviable position of being 100% open. On Thursday morning, you'll find that 25 of Pico's 57 trails have been freshly groomed, including Sunset 71, 49er and KA off the Summit Chair, plus most of the Golden Express and Knomes Knoll terrain too.

If you prefer jibs and jumps to groomers and bumps, be sure to check out Pico's Gold Rush Terrain Park. New to Pico this season, Gold Rush Park is loaded with 12 boxes, rails, jumps and jibs and is always easily accessible via the Golden Express Quad.

Mini Shred Madness, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed until Saturday,
March 4.

Pico Mountain operating hours:
8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18-Sunday, February 26; 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday, February 27.ay, February 26.
