Get Pumped for Winter!

We hope you are as stoked as we are for Pico Mountain’s opening day. In fact, we’re so anxious to get on the slopes, we’ve partnered with the United Way of Rutland County and will open a day early on Friday, December 17.  Here’s the deal: Purchase an Express Card on Friday, Dec. 17 for just $39 and enjoy a free day on the slopes on Friday, Dec. 17! Plus, Pico will donate $20 for each Express Card purchased on opening day to United Way. Remember, Express Cards also make great stocking stuffers!

All summer long we’ve been working hard to provide you with a great skiing and riding experience. We’re offering free lessons for adults and a new on-snow play area to introduce kids to winter sports. We recently announced that starting Jan. 1, 2011 Pico Mountain will be Vermont’s only non-smoking resort!

Know someone who would like to learn how to ski or ride down a mountain? Anyone age of 7 and older can learn from our instructors free of charge December 17-24. The free learning days include limited lift ticket, rentals and lesson. This is a great opportunity to develop a lifetime of lasting memories! Sign up at least 48 hours in advanced by calling 800-923-9444.

We’ve designed a winter wonderland to provide an entertaining learning environment to introduce kids 8 and under to snow sports. Planet Kids will include snow tubing, a tree fort, snow volcano, skiing and snowboarding and riding on a 20’ carousel while enjoying their favorite on-snow sports. Get your kids on snow and let them have a ball!
