It’s time! Opening day is just one day away! Just $45 will have you skiing and riding your day away at Pico on Saturday and Sunday! Here’s a sampling of the new stuff we’ve added for tomorrow:
Beginner Tow Rope: Perfect for those learning how to ski or snowboard, our new tow rope provides easy access to our beginner terrain. The speed and ease offered by this new feature allows our Perfect Turn Ski & Snowboard School students spend more time on the snow and less time on the lift.
More Snowmaking Capability: We’ve got new snow guns this year at Pico, improving the on-snow and aesthetic experiences. We can have 75 percent of the mountain covered with snowmaking, so we’re going to have a top-to-bottom experience for you as soon as Mother Nature lets us.
New Ticket Window & Last Run Lounge:
We’ve moved our ticket window – it’s now the first building to the left when you enter the base area. It’s all part of our new base lodge improvements, designed to make navigating Pico quicker and easier. While you’re off the slopes, stop in at the Last Run Lounge, featuring a new décor and new menu. On Saturdays, enjoy some après ski action by the top level of our three-story stone fireplace with a live band.
We’ll have some pretty cool features later in the season, too. As many of you know, we’re adding a terrain park – the Triple Slope Terrain Park, to be exact. It’ll have small features so you can practice your style in a relaxed place, but we’ll also have some medium features and jumps so more experienced park skiers and riders can get in on the action, too.
Check back with us throughout the season for more updates on everything we’ve added.
