Pico Fully Open & Park Date Set!
Posted by Pico Mountain on January 4, 2010
Hey there Pico fans -
If you've been on the hill or following us on Facebook, you know Pico is 100 percent open! Our last trail -- Upper Giant Killer -- opened on Sunday, making every single one of our trails open. We've had a ton of powder in the last 48 hours, so if your goal is to cover the mountain this year, you're now fully able to do it!
For those of you stoked about the new Triple Slope Terrain Park, it's almost here. If you've been in the triple slope area, you've seen the giant piles of snow we've been making the past few days. That's because we are going to install features Tuesday and Wednesday, and have that bad boy open and ready for jibbing on Thursday! So if you want to be the first skier or rider EVER in the park at Pico, make sure you're on that first chair at 9 a.m. on Thursday. The park will have small and medium level features and is serviced by the Knomes Knoll Triple. Don't forget to thank Rosie and the park crew if you see them out there for building all new features for us, too!
Don't forget, Pico is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, so Thursday morning is usually a great day on the hill! Have fun!
