Presidents' Week Celebrations
Posted by Pico Mountain on February 20, 2012
Happy Birthday, George Washington! Pico Mountain has big plans for Presidents’ Week, with deals and special events straight through February 26. We’ll also be open all week long, with first chair at 8:30 a.m. each day.
We’ve been making snow over the holiday weekend, and our groomers have been hard at work on the trails, as well! Pico currently has 12 miles of top-to-bottom cruising, the Triple Slope Terrain Park with seven features, and lots of wall-to-wall corduroy. Stay tuned to the snow report for the latest conditions information, and we’ll see you on the hill!

The fun and excitement continues off the slopes at the all-new, lift served Tubing Park. LIVE MUSIC AT THE WOBBLY BARN
What to do after skiing and riding all day? Head to the Wobbly Barn for live music every Friday and Saturday. Plus on Tuesday, February 21, throw on a mask, grab your beads and join us for a Mardi Gras Party. The Wobbly Barn will be rocking all night to live music from the Mango Jam, a six piece dance band playing straight-ahead zydeco as well as New Orleans-inspired funk, reggae and ska. Costumes are required and prizes will be awarded to the best three.
DOWNHILL FOR DIABETES, FEB 26
As we wrap up Presidents' Week, help make a difference and participate in the Second Annual Downhill for Diabetes event, Sunday, February 26. Done in donation-walk style, teams and individuals will raise money to benefit diabetes research and awareness. Sponsored by businesses, family and friends, participants will take to the slopes all day long for skiing, riding, racing and prizes. 100% of proceeds benefit diabetes research. Advance registration is required.
