Welcome back, skiers and riders! Pico Mountain will open on Thursday with lots of fresh grooming under sunny skies and mild temperatures. It sounds like a perfect day to be out on the hill.

Pico’s groomers are first-class, and they’ll be taking the cats out on all of your favorites. Get out there for first tracks and you can expect wall-to-wall corduroy on 16 of our 19 open trails. Those blue cruisers will be waiting for you. Stay tuned as our Mountain Operations team continues to work to improve our surfaces and keep our trails in top shape!

Our plans on Thursday are to ski and ride nearly 2000 vertical feet of top to bottom terrain. We’ve got trails for all ability levels served by 4 open lifts. And thanks to those awesome groomers, we plan to have 8 miles of open trails.

B-Slope is scheduled to be closed to the public for racing. Thanks in advance for your understanding.

Four lifts are scheduled to spin, starting at 9:00 a.m.

In addition, the Pico Lodge will be fully open with the newly renovated Sunshine Room in full swing. Lifts will be open from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and tickets will be $49 for adults (19-64), $42 for Young Adults/Seniors (13-18/65+) and $34 for Juniors (7-12).

Purchase a $49 Express Card , and watch the magic happen. Just like a season pass, we’ll put your picture on a card that you can take straight to the lift, every day. The cost of a lift ticket will be sent to your account with your first ride of the day. Not only that, but you’ll enjoy a discounted price on that lift ticket – $29 mid-week and $39 weekend/peak.
