Pico Mountain Announces Opening Day for the 2013-14 Winter Season - December 6, 2013

Expanded terrain, discounted lift tickets, and a community partnership to feed the hungry highlight opening weekend

KILLINGTON, VT— On Saturday, December 14, Pico Mountain will open for the 2013-2014 ski and snowboard season with a special promotion to support BROC-Community Action in Southwest Vermont, a nonprofit organization which provided 44,000 meals to low-income Vermonters last year.

Discounted single-day lift tickets will be available all weekend at the Pico Ticketing Sales Center with a donation of two non-perishable food items. One-day lift tickets will be just $25 for all ages (regularly $67) and the VT Student Pass will be discounted to $75 (regularly $99).

KILLINGTON, VT – (Nov. 1, 2013) – Vermont’s Pico Mountain at Killington Resort presents early-season ticket deals through December 13, 2013. Skiers and riders can pre-purchase a P50 lift ticket valid all season or a P40 lift ticket valid all season with the exception of 22 blackout dates. Additionally, the 2013-14 Pico Express Card, with season-long direct-to-lift discounts, is now available to guests for purchase at the season’s lowest rate.

75TH ANNIVERSARY OF PICO MOUNTAIN CONTINUES WITH ANTIQUE SKI RACE - February 22, 2013

Pico Mountain, big mountain terrain and small mountain charm since 1937, continues their 75th Anniversary celebration with the 10th Annual Vermont Antique Ski Race March 23. More than seven decades ago when Pico opened, gasoline cost roughly 20 cents a gallon, a postage stamp was 3 cents and Pico Peak Ski Area opened on Thanksgiving day with 1,200 foot rope tow powered by a Hudson motor car engine.
