HALF PRICE TICKETS AND PACKAGES BENEFIT SKIERS AND RIDERS THIS SEASON AT PICO
December 11, 2009
Pico Mountain, Vt: In exciting news for both experienced skiers and riders and those wanting to learn, Pico Mountain is happy to announce their “Bring a Friend” and Learn to Ski and Ride programs for the 09-10 season.
Experienced skiers and riders will receive a half-price lift ticket when they purchase with a friend who buys a Learn to Ski or Learn to Ride class, also at half-price -- a savings of up to $27 for a daily lift pass or $42 on a lesson. At the end of the class, the first-time skier will be able to purchase a two-day extended lesson for $69, to be used at any point during the 09-10 season. And when the lessons are over, Pico Mountain will give those guests three free days of lift tickets and rentals.
Pico Mountain’s new program helps new guests overcome the initial barrier to entry by offering six days of skiing for only $21.50 a day. According to the National Association of Ski Areas, a skier or rider must spend at least five days on the slopes to become a lifetime participant. Maybe some kind of quote here?
