Happy Valentine's Day, Pico fans! It's going to be a very chilly start on Sunday, which may cause some lift delays. Please check back here in the morning for the latest updates. Once we do get things going, you'll want to be sure to bundle up, cover your nose, and check out our cold weather tips to stay comfortable in the cold.
Pico snowmakers put in a strong effort last week to bolster the base depth on core trails and they will take a much-needed break on Sunday, leaving the slopes clear for skiing and riding. No such luck for the grooming team, however, which will work through the night grooming 8 trails for Sunday morning.
Five lifts are scheduled, with key lifts turning form 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Remember that Pico Mountain is celebrating Presidents' Day with extended hours; operating every day from Feb. 11-22. Hours of operation are also extended from Feb.13-21 when Pico will open at 8:30 a.m. each day.
Join us today at 9:00 a.m. for Pico Mountain Skin and Stretch, a fun and informative trip up the mountain followed by a relaxing, ski-specific yoga class in the lodge.
