Have you heard the news? Pico's brand new Gold Rush Terrain Park is now open. Located near the junction of Gold Rush and Lower Pike for easy access, the new park is stocked with 12 boxes, jumps and rails.
Snowmaking will continue in earnest on Expressway and Mid Pike trails once sub-freezing temperatures return sometime Sunday evening.
January is National Safety month at Pico buy a helmet at Pico Sports from January 14-27 and get a free lift ticket valid any day from January 28-the end of the 2016-17 season.
Pico Mountains operating hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday; 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday. Pico Mountain is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
