Current Conditions

(as of Saturday, January 20, 2018)

Mother Nature and our snowmakers were busy this week re-expanding terrain, Pico Fans. Mother Nature came through with 8 inches of snow and the snowmakers focused on resurfacing some of our favorites like 49er. Patrollers were busy dropping ropes to get us back on trails like Expressway and Panhandler.

The snowguns will stay on just as long as temperatures allow this morning, and once the temps drop back down after the weekend the snowmakers will march right to Upper Pike.

Although the temperatures are too warm for making snow this weekend, they will be just right for skiing and snowboarding at Pico. Temps in the 30s and partly to mostly sunny skies will make this the most comfortable weekend yet in 2018.

January is National Safety Awareness month and Learn to Ski and Snowobard Month. Pico Sports is celebrating safety month - purchase a helmet from now through January 21 at Pico Sports, Killington Sports or and get a FREE Killington lift ticket to use anytime between January 22 and the end of the season. Stop into Pico Sports for more info, and check out the new Pico logo gear while you're there.

Pico Snow Sports School is participating in Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month with a $49 Learn-to Package. Encourage someone you know to take up the sport you love with this special offer.

Regular hours of lift operation at Pico Mountain are 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. Pico is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
