About Pico Ski Education Foundation (PSEF)

Pico Ski Education Foundation (PSEF) is a 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization founded in 1977 to provide the Pico Ski Club (PSC) Alpine Racing Program funding needed to keep its fees as affordable as possible, and with all the equipment necessary to run a safe, competitive, modern youth ski racing program.

Over the last 45 years, PSEF has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars in direct purchases and other support of the Pico Racing Program and its athletes. A few examples are snow fencing, timing equipment, gates and drills, video equipment, trail improvements, direct scholarships to deserving athletes and the construction of the Andrea Mead Lawrence Lodge, which serves as a training center for Pico athletes and is home to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports.

Most recently, the Pico Ski Education Foundation and Pico Ski Club Leadership have focused fundraising efforts to further improve the Pico Junior Racing Development Venue at Pico Mountain with The Anne and Joe Jones Snowmaking Campaign. With the goal of advancing all of the PSC Race Program's preferred training and racing areas, enhancements to A-Slope on "Little Pico" are under way to create more favorable racing and training terrain, trail access and surface conditions.

The success of PSEF fundraising efforts relies on the generosity of others. Financial support of the Pico Ski Club Racing Program provided by PSEF ensures that children will have a top-notch racing experience at a remarkably reasonable cost. The families and friends of Pico racers are what keep the program alive and flourishing.
